Secure A Site Grade 1 and 2 Information
The Secure A Site Grade 1 and 2 system operates on a local audible warning device. When an intruder is detected, the control unit is activated and the siren sounds for a pre-programmable time up to a maximum of 20 minutes, after which the system resets and automatically re-arms. The system can be programmed to automatically re-arm between 1 and 99 times.
Secure-A-Site Grade 1
System incorporates either photoelectric beam detectors or passive infra red detectors.
Secure A Site Grade 2
System incorporates both photoelectric beam detectors and passive infra red detectors.
1. MAINS AC
Power should be provided by means of an internal 240v socket, supplied within 10 meters from the scaffold structure.
2. CONTROL UNIT
The Secure-A-Site system incorporates a HYBRID security control unit, 8 or 16 detection zones. The technology shall have the ability of being expanded up to 40 zones. The control technology shall have the capabilities for expansion via a choice of 4 x 8 zones hardwired or 4 x 8 zones 868MHz "Class VI" narrow band radio expansion or a combination of both. The control technology provides the flexibility to suit many different environments and locations.
3. KEY PAD
The control technology key pad operates by means of entering a 4-6 digit programmable security code (16 user codes) using the LCD 16 digit full English text keypad The keypad shall normally be located within the protected building at an agree location at time of installation.
The control technology provides a minimum of 250 timed and date stamped event log memory, by means of the LCD keypad, or direct connection via a RS232 and laptop computer .
4. EXTERNAL SIREN
The Secure-A-Site siren and strobe technology is enclosed within a 4mm double-skinned polycarbonate enclosure, environmentally protected of not less than IP6.7. The siren unit shall be physically mounted to back board (450mm (w) x 400mm (h) x 2mm (thickness) which in turn be securely mounted to the scaffold structure by physical means using a scaffold clamp clasp or tie, at a height greater than 4m from pavement level,
The siren technology shall be capable of being programmed to sound between 1-20 minutes, and the ability to re-arm up to 99 times. The siren unit shall be capable of producing a sound level of 110db at 1meter distance (maximum permitted limit).
The siren unit shall incorporate 24 hour tamper circuitry and design features such as: front and back cover tamper protection, built in battery back-up and a automatic bell cut-off timer to comply with environmental noise pollution acts. Any tampering with the siren, unit, wiring or power source shall result in the operation of the sounder(s) by means of an independent internal battery for a period of 20 minutes maximum.
5. WARNING SIGNS
Secure-A-Site UK shall provide visual warning signs to all elevations, which shall normally be fitted at a height greater than 4m meters above the pavement level at intervals no greater than 15M distances apart to all elevations where scaffold is erected and security is required.
6. IR ACTIVE QUAD BEAMS & IR PASSIVE INFRA RED DETECTION
The system is designed and installed to detect human intrusion climbing, crawling or walking up or through the infrared detector beams on a boarded or un-boarded scaffold lift.
The sensor technology used are specifically manufactured for external applications and are designed, installed and programmed to ignore birds, small animals, pedestrians, roadside traffic, rubbish chutes, scaffold safety netting and any form of movement from within adjacent open/closed windows, or extreme weather conditions such as falling snow heavy rain or fog. The sensor technology includes further design and circuitry safety features for the immunity of white, ultra violet and fluorescent light sources, radio and electrical energy sources such as mains surge and RF interference protection circuitry.
IR ACTIVE: The sensor technology incorporates 4 IR BEAMS up to a range of 50 meters distance with the ability of indicating an alarm condition should any, removal of lid/cover, cable being cut, linked out or miss positioning of the intruder detection devices occurs to outside the field of detection. IR 4 Quad Beam includes a scaffold mounting pole, which is fixed direct to the scaffold using a standard scaffold fitting.
IR PASSIVE: Passive detection (PIR) provides flood detection up to 25 meters. IR Passives are mounted directly to the external scaffold corner standard, providing detection to scaffold ends, small returns, gantry or ladder runs to other lifts. Mounted directly to scaffold standards using metal clamp or suitable tie.
7. TAMPER PROTECTION AND BATTERY BACK UP
All alarm cables, junction boxes alarm sensor technology, main control units (CPU'S) and other alarm/security devices fitted, shall incorporate 24 hour tamper protection features and circuitry all equipment where possible will be installed within the field of detection thus providing improved security to such devices and complying to our codes of installation and requirements.
Battery backup CPU, In the event of mains failure/disconnection the control unit technology will incorporate a 12v 7amp Ni-cad rechargeable battery back-up system for a minimum of 8 hours continued operation.
All cable runs, junction boxes and detection equipment have 24 hour tamper protection identification circuitry incorporated, which in the event of tampering will result in an alarm condition.
The Secure-A-site system shall be supplied with 24-hour emergency response call out cover, should the system develop a equipment related fault at any time
N.B Technology exact locations shall be re-examined at time of installation due to the individual scaffold and possible variables in location and environmental conditions
All SECURE-A-SITE systems are approved by the Security
Systems & Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB), and therefore comply to all the relevant British or European Standards.
